Don’t you appreciate it when something get’s right to the point? Yeah, me too.
Solid carved letter and/or graphics are exactly what they sound like. Size is whatever you’re seeking, materials can vary greatly, thickness is pretty much up to you. I can do wood or plywood, but I highly rec a syntheic such as paylight foamed pvc or HDU for its lightweight and ease of both intitial painting as well as upkeep.
Another material, also synthetic, is acrylic. It can be clear or a solid color, and thickness, again, is up to you.
These are generally attached to a wall as in the example image, but work where ever you need dimensional effects. If the surface they’re being attached to is a high energy surface or a surface with an enamal or latex paint, adhesives are adequate. Otherwise, they can be brad/pin nailed or screwed to the surface just as easy.
Generally, I install these using a template to ensure they’re straight and true, and if I’m shipping them I include a template. The costs varies dramatically based on material, but I try to be as absolutely fair as possible – more fair than most. This is one of those cases being a one man show helps hugely. My overhead is super low, my prices low, but my quality is high.
